Doctors are becoming increasingly concerned about the rising rate of covid-19 infections caught in hospitals. They fear that the coronavirus is becoming a potential hazard of a hospital stay for older or vulnerable people, in a similar way to “superbugs” such as methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA).
