Ron Johnson is talking Obamacare repeal again, bless his little heart

“For example, if we’re going to repeal and replace Obamacare—I still think we need to fix our health-care system—we need to have the plan ahead of time so that once we get in office, we can implement it immediately, not knock around like we did last time and fail,” Johnson said in an interview with Breitbart News Radio. (Perhaps his staff should stop booking him on radio shows. This seems to be a bit of a problem for him.)

Of course, he had to backtrack from that the next day because it was a totally bone-headed thing to say, and because there was no way Minority Leader Mitch McConnell was going to let that stand. “During the radio interview I used our failure to repeal and replace Obamacare as an example of how we need to be prepared to deliver on whatever agenda items we decide to run on,” Johnson said in his cleanup attempt.

“I was not suggesting repealing and replacing Obamacare should be one of those priorities.” Except for the part where he said he thought they should repeal and replace Obamacare and was listing it as one of the priorities should the Republicans retake the Senate. Except for that party, he wasn’t suggesting it at all!

You keep doing you, Ron Johnson. We all appreciate the ulcer you’re giving Mitch McConnell.
